Players and substitutes are ordered to leave the field. A player who is ordered to leave the field before kick-off can only be replaced by one of the nominated substitutes. Where nominated substitute players are ordered to leave the field, either before the kick-off or after the start of the game, they shall not be substituted. International Football Council Resolutions ·Resolution 1 In accordance with the conditions described in Chapter 3 of the Rules, the minimum number of players remaining on the field of a team is determined by the National Association. However, the council believes that if any team has fewer than 7 players, it will not be able to continue the game. ·Resolution 2: A team official can give tactical guidance to players during the game, and must return to their position after giving guidance.
